The property is situated in the picturesque suburb of Garitsa, only a few feet away from the town’s landmark bay, and one of Corfu Town’s most popular sea side routes. The area is surrounded in green, with the two groves of Anemomilos and Garitsa blending perfectly with crystal waters of the Ionian sea.
The area offers an number of activities ranging such as a simple walk along the sea front, jogging or a bike ride in the grove to boat hire for exploring the Corfu town’s coast line. Also there is access to a number of small beaches nearby either free or organised.
Access to Corfu town is very easy, as the walking distance to the town’s historic centre is about 1.5 km or 10-15 minutes on foot. In addition there is a blue bus stop and a taxi station just 150m away from the house.
In addition, most of Corfu’s most significant landmarks and sightseeing spots are within walking distance from the house.
In the area one can also find a number of restaurants and coffee shops, practically for any taste and also a numer of mini markets, and grocery stores.station
The Island
The island of Corfu is biggest in population and second biggest in size among the seven Ionian islands.
Its history goes back thousands of years, and has a number of archeological sites, monuments and places of high cultural significance.

Corfu Town
Corfu Town is the capital of the island. In 2007, the old town of the city was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The structure of the buildings in the old town, along with the two landmark fortresses, depict the era when the island was part of the Republic of Venice.
Spianada Square is the biggest in the Balkan region and along with the signature walk of Liston, is the centre of the historic part of Corfu Town, with a very vibrant day and night life.
